When it comes to draught-proofing heritage windows, you want to feel the difference, not see it. Our innovative draught-proofing technology creates an effective barrier against cold air entering your property.
Typically fitted as standard to all replacement sash and casement windows or doors. Using strips of low-friction Weatherfin polypropylene pile to seal gaps, creating an airtight seal, preventing heat or cool air from escaping your property.
The VPSS was created by Ventrolla’s founder, Robert Tunicliffe. Drawing on his experience designing gaskets and seals for Ford Motors, this innovative window seal has evolved over the last 40-years into a precision-manufactured system.

The process

Restoration
Our master craftsmen meticulously restore each window, addressing issues like rotten timber, damaged cords, and faulty pulleys. We apply our unique VR90 Wood Repair System, a two-part epoxy resin, to reinforce tenon joints and fill sill cavities, enhancing the strength and longevity of your windows and doors.
VPPS upgrade
Regardless of shape or size of the window, the VPSS is installed to all areas discreetly – top of the box, mid rail, bottom rail, parting bead and staff bead. The system upgrades the performance of restored or new wooden windows and doors without affecting either their appearance or character. Our final quality inspection ensures optimal performance and operation.
