01

Preserves architectural integrity

Vacuum glazing authentically resembles traditional single-pane windows and can be retrofitted into existing timber sash windows. It also protects interior furnishings from damage caused by UV radiation and temperature fluctuations.
02

Enhanced energy efficiency

With U-values as low as <0.7W/m2K, vacuum glazing uses an advanced fenestration technique that outperforms other insulated glazing methods, including triple glazing. By minimising heat transfer, vacuum glazing helps regulate indoor temperatures more effectively, reducing the need for heating and cooling systems.
03

Perfect for large-scale projects

The ideal choice for buildings with extensive glass facades, effectively maintaining optimal indoor temperatures. Toughened as standard with no expansion or contraction.
04

15-year warranty

Vacuum glazing has a 15-year warranty, but you can expect it to last over 25 years.

Single glazing repair.

For windows and doors that are cracked or damaged, our bespoke like-for-like replacements provide enhanced thermal and acoustic performance without the need to replace your frames.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

01

How long will the renovation last?

With proper maintenance, our restoration work is designed to last for many years. We also provide a 10 year guarantee for peace of mind.

02

Do you use sustainable materials?

Whenever possible, we use sustainable and ethically sourced materials.

03

Do I need to replace my sash windows to make them energy-efficient?

No, our renovation and draught-proofing system enhances energy efficiency without the need for replacement.

04

I live in a listed building / conservation area – can you work on my windows?

Yes. We often work on listed properties and those within conservation areas and work closely with conservation and planning officers, English Heritage, Historic England, Historic Scotland and Cadw.

05

Will renovation reduce outside noise levels?

Noise is subjective, but our Secondary Glazing systems and the Ventrolla Perimeter Sealing System (draught proofing) have been independently tested and proven to significantly reduce sound intrusion.

06

Is it possible to install double glazing into my original sash windows?

This depends entirely upon what type of window you have, however we have developed a service that will more than likely meet your requirements, namely by replacing your existing moving sashes with new, slim double glazed (or even vacuum glazed) replacements.

07

How long will my window renovation take?

The time taken will vary depending on the survey result. Typically we work to renovate one window per day, although this can be adjusted to suit your requirements.
