Casement window repairs & restoration

Specialists in wooden casement windows, wherever you are in the UK

Otherwise known as side hung windows, or ‘windows that open like a door’, timber case windows date back even further than sash windows to around the 16th century. Thanks to their strong lines and classic design style, they add authentic character to period homes. But if the sashes in your original casement windows are rotten, draughty or rattle, it’s important to have them repaired or replaced by craftsmen with specialist expertise. And that’s where Ventrolla come in.

Innovative draught-proofing solutions for your casement windows

Casement windows usually require draught-proofing because they are old and ill-fitting, with un-equal gaps around the sash. We can draught-proof your casement windows using our innovative sealing system, so you can enjoy their traditional charm and a more comfortable home.

Our 2-step repair process involves the treatment and renovation of the timber in your windows, followed by performance upgrading with our unique Ventrolla Perimeter Sealing System.

We install our draught-proofing system into either the frame of the window or the casement sash itself depending upon the construction of the window. The draught-proofing pile carrier is routed into the timber giving it a fixed point and making the system an integral part of the window. Whether your project has sash or casement windows, Ventrolla’s draught-proofing system can improve the Window’s Energy Rating (WER) whilst retaining its original character.
