Role Purpose

The Regional Customer Sales Executive is responsible for driving customer engagement, enquiry conversion and early-stage lead generation within their region.
They ensure every customer enquiry is handled professionally, surveys are booked efficiently, communication is proactive, and leads are progressed to maximise the three core sales conversion metrics:

  • Enquiry → Survey
  • Survey → Order
  • Enquiry → Order

The role supports both the Sales Manager and the Heritage Sales Surveyor, ensuring a seamless customer journey from first contact to quotation.

Key Responsibilities

1. Customer Engagement & Enquiry Handling

  • Handle all inbound enquiries promptly and professionally.
  • Qualify customers and capture essential information before surveys.
  • Maintain Ventrolla’s “Precision Heritage” service standard in all communication.

2. Survey Booking & Coordination

  • Book surveys for the Heritage Sales Surveyor within the region.
  • Ensure all relevant customer, property and project notes are captured accurately.
  • Provide the surveyor with clear, structured handover information.

3. Quotation Support & Follow-Up

  • Support the preparation, issuing and follow‑up of quotations (where assigned).
  • Maintain structured, timely follow-up to improve conversions.
  • Provide clear, accurate updates to customers regarding next steps and timelines.

4. CRM Ownership & Pipeline Management

  • Maintain accurate CRM records across all enquiry, survey and quote stages.
  • Track customer progression through the pipeline with full audit trail.
  • Provide weekly updates to the Sales Manager on activity and performance.

5. Collaboration with Heritage Sales Surveyor

  • Coordinate daily activity with the surveyor to ensure smooth workflow.
  • Share customer expectations, notes, constraints and project context.
  • Assist in progressing survey outcomes into quotations and decisions.

6. Proactive Lead Generation & Regional Growth

When inbound enquiries are low, the Regional Customer Sales Executive will:

Proactively Source New Work

  • Generate repeat business from former customers.
  • Seek recommendation-based leads (same street, neighbours, referrals).
  • Re‑engage past enquiries, dormant leads or older quotes.

Outbound Lead Generation

  • Conduct proactive outbound calling to build a stronger pipeline.
  • Target underperforming postcodes or areas with opportunity.

Work With Marketing

  • Coordinate localised activity, call lists, and follow-up campaigns.
  • Provide feedback on regional trends, lead quality and hotspots.

Work With the Sales Manager

  • Align on weekly focus areas and outbound priorities.
  • Ensure lead generation supports the region’s sales targets.

Work With the Heritage Sales Surveyor

  • Identify “look‑alike” opportunities near completed projects.
  • Support local reputation building and customer advocacy.

This ensures the region remains active, productive, and able to generate revenue consistently regardless of inbound volume.

  • Comfortable working independently across a regional patch

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £28,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
