Staffordshire University
Sash window renovation specialist, Ventrolla, have provided invaluable skills to help refurbish a landmark educational facility in central Stoke.
Staffordshire University appointed Architects, Hulme Upright, to carry out renovations on its historic Cadman Centre, which houses the university’s library and administrative offices.
Ventrolla carried out work at the university, renovating around 140 sliding timber sash windows on the two storey building.
Dunsley House, Kinver
A crumbling 200-year-old Georgian property will live to see another century after its charm won over local homeowners.
Louis and Haley Smith invested in the near derelict Dunsley House, in the large village of Kinver in South Staffordshire, in December 2009 after having their eye on the three storey property since 2006.
Due to the scale of the project, renovation specialists were needed and the couple appointed Ventrolla Staffordshire and Salop when it came to the unique sash windows.
Lion & Pheasant Hotel
The Lion and Pheasant hotel called in Ventrolla to renovate the sash windows on the well-known local hotel, bar and restaurant in the heart of the town.
Over thirty sash windows were given a complete overhaul to ensure they were in perfect working order, energy efficient and in keeping with the 17th and 18th century structures and sophisticated interior design.
Rachael Chidlow, a Partner at award-winning Architects Paul Keogh Architects, is delighted with the renovated windows.
