Traditional windows are an essential feature of period architecture. They add value, charm and enhance the surrounding architecture too. Therefore, Ventrolla understands how important it is to properly maintain them, fulfilling aesthetic, historic and regulatory responsibilities.
Over four decades, we've worked closely with English Heritage, Historic England, Cadw, Historic Scotland and local planning offices when advising on renovation works for listed buildings, Areas Of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONBs), and those within conservation areas. We are highly experienced at carrying out work in phases to suit all commercial projects and timescales too. Getting Ventrolla involved at the early stage of your project means we can produce a full condition report outlining all options available. Our team will help with your tender by providing our detailed specifications and precise window section drawings.
Our team are on hand to guide you through the window renovation process:
Taking into consideration that schools require refurbishment work to be carried out during the holidays and hotels need tailored work schedules to fit around seasonal bookings, each project is assigned a dedicated Commercial Project Manager to oversee and fulfil your specific project on time and within budget.
We’re the nation’s ‘go-to’ timber window specialist – so, if you need expert advice, a budget price, or a site survey for your commercial project, you’re in the right place!
The Ventrolla journey begins with a consultation with our surveyor to discuss the project, establish a budget, and arrange a site survey.
Once we’ve taken a look at your project specifications, bill of quantities and window schedules, we can provide you with either a budget price or site inspection and estimate. Using your tender documents, we will provide a window-by-window quotation to match your window reference numbers and elevation drawings. Survey to estimate takes no longer than 3 working days from the date of the survey.
Following receipt of written confirmation to go ahead, we can provide you with a range of installation dates to suit your schedule. If new joinery is required, a Technical Survey will also be organised. Creating your unique vision in our UK-based manufacturing facility takes around 30 days.
As your commencement date approaches, your dedicated Project Manager will keep you updated on the progress every step of the way. Depending on the project, our installation target is 6 weeks.
Completing a comprehensive snagging list before sign off, our skilled commercial team will make sure you are happy with the renovation work and answer any questions you may have.
Once we receive your final payment, our ‘Care Pack’ will be sent to you or your client. This includes handy Maintenance Instructions, our 5-year guarantee, and energy improvement certificates for absolute peace of mind.
