What our customers are saying

Ventrolla were able to beat all the other quotations that I received and answered queries quickly and informatively, making changes as required promptly and without fuss. I was kept informed throughout of lead times and manufacturing times. The real stars of the show were Rob and James who worked tirlessly and brilliantly as a team to repair sash boxes where required and install our new sashes. Thank you!

Stephen

Everybody I dealt with has been super friendly, informative, and helpful. I received emails with updates on what was happening, etc. It has been a great experience from start to finish.

Cai

I used Ventrolla to renovate my sash windows over to years ago. When two of them finally collapsed, including a bay window the size of three full sized Georgian windows they were my first contact. The office staff, surveyors and the three fitters that did an amazing job installing them in less than two days were all excellent. The quality of workmanship and the standard of installation were first class, and the new windows look amazing. I will definitely be using them again as more of my windows will need replacing over the next few years.

Alastair

This is the second property Ventrolla have restored my windows for me, and the this job was every bit as good as the first. 14 sash windows in a Grade II listed building installed/refurbed without a hitch in week. The team of 4 installers were lovely chaps, super efficient and tidy. All round another fabulous job done – thank you the Ventrolla Team

Frequently Asked Questions

I live in a listed building / conservation area / AONB - can you work on my property?

Quite simply, yes, we can! We have completed lots of work over the years on listed properties across South Wales, and those within conservation areas and Areas Of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB). Working closely with local conservation and planning officers, English Heritage, Historic England, Historic Scotland, and Cadw, you can trust in Ventrolla to reinstate and sustain unique architectural features whilst simultaneously heightening historical value in too. Whether your property is in Newport or Ebbw Vale, we can create a beautiful installation perfectly suited to your needs.

What kind of wood do you use?

We use a range of timbers – hardwoods like sapele, softwoods like redwood, and a fast-growing, sustainably sourced ‘super wood’ called Accoya®, which comes with a 50-year guarantee and has been specifically designed to withstand the worst of the British weather. So you can rest assured that from Bridgend to Merthyr and beyond, your property will be in safe hands.

Do you offer an installation guarantee?

Yes, our work is guaranteed for 5 years.

Is there a minimum order value?

Yes, there is. Offering a full renovation, draught-proofing, or bespoke new joinery service, our minimum order value is £1,500 inclusive of VAT. So, we can’t usually help with smaller works than this (e.g., broken sash cords, cracked glazing, etc.) unless they form part of a larger renovation project.

How long will the work take to complete?

Varying from area to area, Ventrolla lead times depend on how busy we are, and the specific renovation work required. On average, our lead times range from 6-14 weeks from the date the order is placed. Your Surveyor will be able to advise you further on current lead times, and our operations team will be able to confirm exact timescales once you place your order.

PLEASE NOTE: In these unprecedented times, coupled with the latest COVID measures, please be aware that our lead times could be longer than originally specified. Should there be any impact on your installation date, please rest assured we will keep you updated throughout the process.
