In a Sutton Coldfield conservation area, this semi-detached Victorian home had three original sash windows that had become ill-fitting and rotten over time. After a friend recommended Ventrolla, Ms. Thomas made an enquiry. We began the project with a short survey to assess the condition of the windows, understand the issues that their deterioration was causing, and make our recommendations. We repaired the tenon joints of the original wooden sashes, replaced the rotten window sills and installed our draught-proofing system. This improved the fit, meant that the windows could function well again, and increased the defence against draughts.
“The rattles have gone! The windows open and close smoothly. No more draughts.”
“The repair team were excellent. They were with me over two days and kept disruption to a minimum. On departure everything was left clean and tidy. My windows are now returned to their former glory!”
