A NEW LEASE OF LIFE BEGINS FROM JUST £500 per window
A sash window is a true representation of classic form and function, but like many things… time, weather conditions, neglect and general wear and tear can take their toll.
SASH WINDOW REPAIR
Ventrolla sympathetically and expertly handle all these issues and more, to repair your sash windows. Making them as quiet, draught proof and warm as many of their modern counterparts.
AREAS OF FOCUS
We have three clear areas of focus when handling your windows, ensuring their traditional charm and aesthetics are always maintained.
Bringing them up to modern energy efficiency standards all whilst ensuring they operate correctly, with the sashes moving effortlessly.
Remove old windows
Windows are carefully removed from the window frame
Remove decaying timber
Any decaying timber in the units, frame or sill is routed out to expose the “sound” timber
Splice in new timber
Occasionally, new timber is spliced in, or replaced where the existing timber is beyond repair
Fill all cavities
Our unique epoxy resin, VR90, is used to fill the cavities and is moulded to match the existing profile of the timber
Replace cords & service pulleys
Sash cords are replaced, pulleys serviced and the sashes correctly balanced to ensure smooth operation of the windows
Ventrolla Perimeter Sealing System
Upgrading of the windows by fitting the Ventrolla Perimeter Sealing System, virtually eliminating draughts and rattles.
NO DRAUGHTS OR RATTLES
The windows are then upgraded by fitting the Ventrolla Perimeter Sealing System. This system virtually eliminates draughts and rattles by closing the 3mm gap you have around each sash – which will be the main culprit of the draughts, rattles and leaks you may be dealing with. At the same time, the Ventrolla Sash Removal System can also be fitted to ease future painting, cleaning and maintenance.
