15 wooden period sash windows have been renovated by Ventrolla at this idyllic home in Nottinghamshire.
The customer, who we will refer to as ‘Mr S’ for privacy reasons, has worked with Ventrolla multiple times, phasing the works throughout their home. They reported that noise and lack of operational function had become the main issues with the sash windows over the years.
Knowing this, Ventrolla were on hand to free-up the sashes that had been stuck closed for years, by installing slim, double-glazed sashes within the existing box frames, and installing their draught-proofing system as standard, too. This eliminated those pain points and common issues, making the windows more thermally efficient and reducing the external noise issue.
As part of the overall renovation service, new sills were installed to replace the old, rotten external window sills that had deteriorated beyond repair.
