Sash Windows Restored at Grade II listed property
Key features: Domestic, Grade II Listed, Sash Windows, Renovation, Ventrolla Perimeter Sealing System (VPSS), Victorian.
Sash window renovation specialist Ventrolla has completed renovations on a period home in Bures, the small hamlet on the Essex and Suffolk border.
A friend recommended Ventrolla to Lorna Woods, the owner of Brook House, and she has been delighted with the service she received. She said:
“We staggered the work over a couple of years and had a few windows done at a time. On each occasion the fitters were fantastic and incredibly efficient, causing very little disruption.”
“As more and more of the windows were completed, we could feel the benefit of less draughts and noise from the main road running just in front of the house.”
“The renovated windows have made a big difference to our home, both physically and aesthetically.”
Brook House is a Grade II listed property, so keeping the original look of the building was a high priority.
Ventrolla’s central office is based in Harrogate, North Yorkshire, with offices throughout the UK and Ireland, and offers a bespoke renovation service for timber sliding sash and casement windows, and timber doors.
Its unique Ventrolla Perimeter Sealing System (VPSS) improves a window’s performance and energy efficiency, and the Ventrolla Sash Removal System (SRS) eases the removal of sashes for future painting and maintenance.
