Quality Bespoke Timber Sash Windows and Sash Window Repair in and around Yorkshire

Our business originated in Harrogate, North Yorkshire, back in 1982, and our Head Office is still based here today.

With this history and experience, it’s fair to say we know Yorkshire wooden windows – they take the brunt of the cold and wet weather and therefore we encounter a lot of rotten timbers in homes in this region. This is nothing our skilled team can’t help fix though! Treating rotten timbers, installing draught-proofing or even slim double glazing is what we do.

With such a diverse range of properties to consider throughout Yorkshire, a Surveyor with a property & construction background is the only choice for our Surveyor – Steve.

Steve has lived & breathed construction at every point of his career. He has been an essential part of management teams, as well as running his own construction firm, so he understands both the customers’ needs and how to get the job done to the highest of standards. He’s on hand to come visit you and your home, to provide you with advice regarding your wooden window project.

Services we provide:

Backed by our skilled local teams of Installers, Steve and the team cover far and wide, including Bradford, Shipley, Skipton, Settle, Doncaster, Grimsby, Gainsborough, Retford, Howden, Barton-Upon-Humber, Goole, Huddersfield, Harrogate, Knaresborough, Ripon, Hull, Beverley, Halifax, Leeds, Ilkley, Wetherby, Boston Spa, Otley, Lincoln, Sheffield, Rotherham, Wakefield, Pontefract, Dewsbury, York, Scarborough, Whitby, Thirsk, Driffield, Selby, Easingwold, Pickering, Bridlington, Filey and many more surrounding areas.

Grade II Listed York Townhouse

An 1800’s grade II listed townhouse in York receives the full Ventrolla treatment.

Mr Andrews, a resident of the beautiful and historic city of York, asked Ventrolla to give the sash windows in his period town house some much needed attention.

Built c.1840, the Grade II listed property was plagued by the 4 common problems associated with original timber sash windows namely they were rotten, draughty, rattling and hard to operate. The property also fronts on to a busy road which meant that noise reduction was a priority for the owner.

Sarah Beeny,
Rise Hall, Hull

Sarah was previously impressed by Ventrolla and the service they offer having worked with them on the TV show Property Ladder, and so she wasted no time enlisting their help to restore her own sash windows this time around.

Ventrolla completed the vast project in four phases, adhering to strict deadlines as the first wedding was booked for June. The work involved the renovation of 147 sash windows, including 23 new sashes being made to install into existing window boxes.

Sheffield
High School

Ventrolla, the timber window renovation specialist, has gone back to school in Sheffield to complete a £40,000 project.

Ventrolla was appointed by the owner of Sheffield High School, the Girls’ Day School Trust, to renovate and repair 120 period windows.

The first stage of the project was to repair any damaged woodwork on the sashes. Where the damage was too extensive, Ventrolla replaced the sashes, matching the originals as closely as possible.
