A photograph taken in the early 1900s has aided window renovation specialist, Ventrolla, in completing a project on a period property in Husbands Bosworth, Leicestershire.
Ventrolla Midlands was appointed to repair and refurbish two sash windows and replace a further three on the front elevation of the 19th century house. The work was undertaken using the historic print, which was donated by neighbours, as a point of reference.
Ventrolla has successfully completed its third consecutive project at a primary school in Sherwood Rise, Nottingham.
The window renovation specialist carried out work on 14 windows at Claremont Primary and Nursery School.
Work on the Grade II listed building was completed in just four weeks during the holiday period in order to reduce disruption to classes.
Ventrolla has renovated 96 traditional wooden sash windows at five Georgian houses belonging to the diocese of Southwell and Nottingham.
Vicars’ Court, a quadrangle of Grade II listed houses close to South well Minster, is home to the local Dean and members of the clergy.
Ventrolla repaired and serviced the windows, many of which had been damaged by bad weather, while others were stuck shut because they’d been painted over.
