Another important measurement of a window's performance is noise reduction. Independent testing of Ventrolla's Perimeter Sealing System , installed into a sash window, fell within the 6-10 dB(A) noise reduction range, in acoustic terms is deemed to provide a 'significant' noise reduction.

Whilst the Ventrolla Perimeter Sealing System can provide a positive impact on noise reduction, however this should be viewed as an added benefit rather than as a solution to an external noise control problem.
