The Ventrolla Service

Ventrolla's specialisation in the renovation of sash windows and performance upgrading is delivered through their unique Perimeter Sealing System, meaning you can renovate rather than replace, so that the charm and original character of your sash windows can be retained.

The system can also be installed into casement windows and some types of doors.

 Following your initial enquiry

• A detailed inspection is carried out  to ascertain the work to be undertaken, that's without charge or obligation.
• A comprehensive report will then be given on exact requirements to renovate windows.

The Renovation Process

• Sliding sashes are carefully removed and the condition of timber, cords, glass and pulleys are all individually checked.
• Decaying wood is routed to expose repairable material, or if beyond repair original profiles can be matched with new joinery.
• Two-part epoxy resin is then moulded to match the exact profile of the original window.
• All cords are replaced, pulleys are serviced and sash weights adjusted to ensure perfectly smooth operation of the window.

Performance Upgrading of original

Traditionally a sash window requires a 3mm gap around the sashes for functionality. Inevitably this gap allows in draughts, dust and noise and is the source of annoying rattles. This gap also allows for loss of heat from the home. The installation of the patented Ventrolla Perimeter Sealing System into each window seals this gap and actually improves on the original by:

• Eradicating rattles.
• Virtually eliminating draughts.
• Minimising dust & dirt ingress.
• Increasing the energy efficiency.
• Reducing external noise.

Sash Removal System

• The Ventrolla Sash Removal System & Swing Sash System allows easy access for painting and future maintenance, enabling the removal from the inside of both upper and lower sashes.
• A complete demonstration of operation and maintenance of the Ventrolla system is always given.
