Part 2 - Peformance Upgrade

Sash window renovation performance upgrade draught proofing system, Diagram The process begins with the treatment and restoration of the sash window, then the sash windows performance is improved by installing our unique Perimeter Sealing System, which has been proven through Independent Testing to British Standards BS 6375-1:2004, providing improved energy efficiency, without altering the appearance of the window.

Once installed - draughts and rattles are eliminated and heat loss and dust ingress greatly reduced.

Grooves are routed out of the mid rail and bottom rail
Pile carriers and the correct sized Weatherfin Pile are then installed, making the seal an integral part of the window
New Parting and Staff Beads that incorporate the Weatherfin Pile complete the seal

This process ensures all gaps around the window are filled, creating a fully sealed, yet smoothly operating, sash window.

Our system can also be installed into Casement Windows and other timber windows.

Note: We prime any exposed timber with our Acrylic Primer that conforms to BS 7956-2000, so to prepare them for a final finishing coat by others.
