Ventrolla assisted in the renovation and conversion of Berona House in Sheffield into luxury apartments. Working in conjunction with contractor DJ Farmery Ltd, Ventrolla renovated over 85 sash windows of the Victorian property over a six week period. Ventrolla were brought in by the contractor with the aim of increasing comfort levels and sound proofing.

Work carried out:

• Ventrolla's Wood Repair System VR90 was used to carry out repairs and fix scarfed in timber.

• All sashes were eased, adjusted as necessary and balanced.

• New sash cords were fitted and pulleys and hinges serviced.

• Windows were fully draughtproofed using Ventrolla's unique Perimeter Sealing System.

• Sash windows were fitted with the Ventrolla Sash Removal System, which allows quick and easy removal of sashes internally for future maintenance.

• Cills which were beyond repair were replaced.

• Solid brass catches, sash lifts and security stops were fitted.

• Windows were stripped of paint where necessary, primed and refitted.
