Preparing To Hit The Road - New Vans Signal Expansion Drive For Local Business

A local business, specialising in sash window renovation and upgrading, is preparing for major expansion, as the company ‘drives’ forward new business in Yorkshire and the North East.
Formed in 1999 by local businessman, Lawrence Wall, Ventrolla North East & Yorkshire Ridings is a franchise of national window renovation market leader, Ventrolla Limited, which supplies a highly sought after and award winning service to upgrade original timber sash windows. With homeowners increasingly recognising the value of conserving their Victorian and Georgian property features, the business has grown from strength to strength, with turnover doubling to over £1m in the last two years.
In addition to working on domestic homes, the company has upgraded the windows of many landmark properties throughout the region including Wilton Castle near Redcar, the Royal Hotel in Whitby, Rudding Gates near Harrogate and Weetwood Hall Hotel in Leeds. Originally covering the North East, including Newcastle, Durham, Sunderland, Gateshead and Teeside, Ventrolla North East & Yorkshire Ridings progressively expanded into North Yorkshire, to include York, Harrogate and Hull. The latest expansion phase takes the business even further afield, into West Yorkshire and now also covers Leeds, Bradford, Huddersfield and Halifax.
Lawrence Wall commented on his latest plans: “We will grow the business by working tirelessly to achieve high levels of customer service.” Backing him in this aim are son Phillip (21) and daughter Helen (18) who have recently joined the family business team.
