Investors In People

Working in conjunction with the Construction Industry Training Board (CITB), sash window renovation firm, Ventrolla East Anglia, has obtained the coveted Investors in People standard, reaffirming its commitment to training and development of its staff in its specialised field.
Ventrolla East Anglia is a regional business of market-leading sash window renovation company, Ventrolla Limited. Ventrolla provides a highly skilled service to renovate and upgrade original sash windows throughout the UK and Ireland. With commercial window renovation projects including the French Embassy in London, Nottingham Lace Market, Wilton Castle and Weetwood Hall in Yorkshire, the specialised service requires exceptional standards of workmanship and attention to detail.
With ten employees currently, Ventrolla East Anglia has benefited significantly from the in-depth technical and commercial training provided by Ventrolla’s national organisation, which it has reflected in its own local operation. Using this experience and with the guidance of Business Link for Suffolk and Few Associates, Ventrolla East Anglia were successfully awarded the Investors in People standard.
Colin Grosvenor, of Ventrolla East Anglia, perceives that the review process itself was extremely useful, both in developing the staff’s ability to operate effectively as a team, as well as benefiting employees on an individual basis. “The assessment provided some very valuable information about potential areas for improvement”, Colin explained. “Everyone is delighted to have received the standard and we see the whole process as a very positive step by the company. Obtaining the Investors in People standard recognises the team’s performance and we are extremely proud.”
Steve Emmerson, Managing Director of Ventrolla Limited, added: “Ventrolla East Anglia has shown excellent all-round business performance during the past 12 months, and this is a clear reflection on the high working standards and positive co-operation within Colin’s team.”
