April 2006
With a strong portfolio of experience now in both the domestic and commercial sectors, local sash window renovation experts, Ventrolla are firmly stamping their mark throughout Shropshire and South West Wales.
Formed in January 2004 by local businessman, James Griffiths, Ventrolla South West Wales - a regional office of UK market – leading sash window renovation specialists, Ventrolla Ltd - has grown from strength to strength over the past two years.
Having started in Swansea with only one installer, Griffiths has now pro-actively expanded the business throughout South West Wales and into Shropshire, with dedicated teams of installers now operating throughout the area. An additional Sales Manager has also been appointed recently to help handle the exceptional demand for Ventrolla’s service – which allows homeowners to retain their existing sash windows, whilst gaining significant performance improvements
Ventrolla’s track record in its field means that, in addition to working on domestic homes, the company has upgraded the windows of many prestigious commercial properties in the region, including Shrewsbury Girl’s School. The first stage of this project began during the Easter holidays, so to cause minimum disruption, as this particular building houses classrooms and the headmaster’s office.
A further project has recently commenced to renovate 40 sash windows at the historic Holbache House in Oswestry. Originally serving the local community as a hospital - and more recently, a boarding house - the building is now being converted into luxury apartments, with the help of Ventrolla.
Working in conjunction with main contractors, Laing O'Rourke, Ventrolla’s expertise are being put to use to aid with the conversion of Clyn Castle, into luxury apartments. Similarly, Belgrave Court – a large apartment block in Uplands - is currently undergoing a general refurbishment in which Ventrolla have been asked to upgrade 155 sash windows with their award winning Perimeter Sealing System.
James Griffiths comments: “The vast increase in local demand for windows to be restored and upgraded, rather than replaced, highlights the undeniable charm that original windows bring – whether that be within a small home or a large prestigious building.”
