Weatherfin Pile

Weatherfin provides a high performance weather seal with low friction sliding. Manufactured from multi-filament polypropylene yarn, silicone treated for water-repellency and ultra violet stabilised. Weatherfin is produced to a quality system conforming to EN 290002 and meets all the requirements of BS 7386:1990.

In the diagrams it can be seen that 4.5mm Weatherfin has only to be compressed to 4.25mm for the air infiltration to be reduced to zero when the test pressure is 100Pa (equivalent to a wind speed of 29 mph).
